France has been in Coronavirus quarantine since Tuesday (17th March 2020) and the Governor of California ordered residents to stay at home (the list of countries and states that are on lockdown because of Coronavirus becomes more and more important). This terrible current unprecedented situation is changing our way of living and we have to adapt.
As event and wedding planners and vendors, we have to face up to the fact that we will lose money and a number of small companies will go bankrupt. Sad reality! So, it is important to be flexible and to think global because we are all in it together #weareallinthistogether. A really interesting article written by Carrie Goldberg for Harper’s Bazaar US deals with this current topic with a very good question: “Should I postpone or cancel my wedding?”.
We have seen thousands of hashtags #posptonedontcancel or #saveevents on Instagram and Twitter to encourage clients to postpone so they don’t lose their retainer. But this is not always easy and we have to find the best solutions. This is the reason why clients have to contact their wedding/event planner or their vendors as soon as possible to see what is possible or not. Communication is key and we are here to help!
Staying at home is the priority #stayhome! Then, we will find the solutions. The entrepreneur life is challenging and flexibility is one of the most important things.
